Sancerre White
Terre de Maimbray
A blend of grapes from various plots, located on the various slopes of the village of Maimbray, where the terroir is calcareous clay-based (locally known as terre blanche or “white earth”). Aged on the lees.
This wine boasts character with its intense notes of white flowers and citrus fruit. It starts off lively, delectable and spicy on the palate. The mid-palate is energetic and balanced while the finish features pleasing length.
Enjoy in its youth to best appreciate the typicity of this Sancerre.
A timeless match – local Crottin de Chavignol goat’s cheese. However, this wine may also be served with oysters or seafood, for example.
